Ok so I guess I haven't really been that busy compared to some people. But I have been studying really hard lately. Although there may not be much of a point because I might not go back to school in the fall. Originally I was thinking of going for the Paralegal program, but I'm not sure thats what I want to do. So instead I'm going to take a Pharmacy Tech certificate program, since I still think I want to do something that at least relates to healthcare...but I'm not sure yet. I'm a last minute decision kind of girl! Haha :D

Ugh grocery shopping
I hate grocery shopping. I mean I like buying stuff but I hate that its so expensive! For two people, we spend around $80 a week...doesn't that seem like a lot or is it just me? Ok so we didn't really need ice cream or chocolate silk coffee or cake mix, but that stuff makes me happy and easier to live with! :)
So I'm not really a big fan of those "Get-Paid-To" sites because I really think most of them are scams. But I have been using ThisSiteIsForReal.com, and I did get a check last month for about $50! Which helps out with the grocery spending ;) So I guess that is a good thing. But its definitely a lot harder being a full time college student and living on my own (well with my boyfriend) than I thought. It's hard to keep the fun going when we have more responsibilities. We're working on that though...
P.S. Yuck - I hate snow:(
So take a look at me now, oh there's just an empty space
Ew it is so nasty out today. It's been snowing, raining, and sleeting since last night! I hate going from hardly any snow to tons again! I'm tired of the cold, I'm ready for spring - and for spring shopping! ;)
So basically my weekend is filled with homework, maybe a little grocery shopping...and not much else, haha. I would like to go out to dinner though - maybe to this cute looking smokehouse about 15 minutes away in the city.
Oh and I just became a ChaCha guide - I love it! It's great for someone like me - a college student with a completely random schedule - to make some extra cash! :)
Happy Weekend!

It's sunny! And warm!
Wow its SO nice out today! Like in the 50s! Haha. But its been better than this snow and ice crap. And apparently its supposed to be crappy again tomorrow. Maybe I won't have class - which would be nice because I have a philosophy test!
Since I've been having such weird problems sleeping lately, I ended up buying some Melatonin supplements last night when we went grocery shopping. I haven't tried them yet but I've heard good things and I'd definitely rather use them because they are natural and therefore better than real sleeping pills (especially after reading this and this - scary!).
Well, since its actually nice out, I think I'm going to go play some tennis.

Yeah he's a looker but I really think it's guts that matter most
I don't really like Sundays. I mean they aren't bad, it just sucks to know that another busy week is coming tomorrow. I definitely have a lot more fun on the weekends. Saturday night was fun. My boyfriend and I went to visit my best friend and her boyfriend. We went to Olive Garden only to find that we would have to wait an hour...so my best friend and I decided to go to Starbuck. And over my first grande non-fat latte in so long, she proceeded to try to convince me to move out there so that we could hang out more. Ummm, ok??! She lives an hour away. See if the program that I wanted to take (Radiology Technology) was at her school, then I would totally consider it. Even though my family, boyfriend and whole life are here. It was really fun to see her though.
Anyways, we stopped at the mall after dinner and of course, I had to stop at the Coach store...and I saw this purse...and this one. Great, another thing I want! I really not that bad, I've had the purse I have now for like 2 years, I swear!:)
Well, I'm tired.

Sleepy
Is it weird that it's less than 30 degrees out and I really want ice cream? Haha.
Well I am really tired. My boyfriend and I decided to take his sister's cat because she just had a baby and the cat was a little jealous. She's probably the friendliest cat ever. You could literally pet her for two seconds and she'll start purring. She meows a lot though. Like she wakes me up meowing for no reason. It's weird, but I'm thinking she's just getting used to things here.
Anyways I'm really excited to see my best friend tonight. We doing the double date thing because our boyfriends are really good friends too. So she lives like an hour away and we're going to meet her over there and go out for dinner and stuff.
Oh and here's a pic of Miss Meow-a-lot:
She's not very photogenic. lol. Plus this pic was taken on my cell but I swear she's cute.
Happy Weekend!
P.S. Fight spam with spampoison. ;) I hate spammers.

And there's a wall standing there between us...
It definitely is crappy out here. Wet and snowy and gross all day. I'm really cold. Normally I'd have coffee, but since I haven't been sleeping all that well lately, I'm trying to not drink coffee past noon. And it sucks. Plus I just starting looking at espresso makers. Cause I miss using my mom's to make lattes.<3
So now I'm quite sleepy. At least American Idol isn't on too late. I actually don't know if I'll even watch it. I mean, I really love Ramiele Malubay! She's so cute and has such a big voice for being so tiny! Other than her and maybe a few others, I don't really think it'll be that great this year. That's just my opinion though. :)

Oscars! & still no college news!
Ok so who else watched the Oscars last night? Alright well I didn't really watch much of it, but I did see the movie I was rooting for, Juno, win Best Original Screenplay! I think Ellen Page should have won Best Actress - she's great! However one thing I was disappointed in was her dress. What the hell? Very bland and boring, she's so pretty and yet her dress really doesn't bring that out at all.
The other thing that annoyed me yesterday was that I was totally expecting to here about whether or not I was accepted to the X-ray tech program I applied to for next semester. The weird thing is that I keep getting all these e-mails and letters saying my roomate id number and weird stuff (which I don't care about because I'm not living on campus anyways!) but no acceptance letter...what, do they do things backwards or something?! Ugh whatever.
Don't you love Mondays?!

We all have a weakness but some of ours are easy to identify
Unfortunately my weekend wasn't all that exciting. I did get a little tipsy on Friday night, but that basically just caused my boyfriend and I to get into another fight. Its not like we have big fights, but it still sucks nonetheless. I don't even know what we fight about...nothing? And everything.
Saturday wasn't any better. We went grocery shopping and fought. Then came home and had an ok night. I guess the main reason we didn't do anything is because we had his dog because she usually lives with his parents, but his mom was going out of town so we took her for the weekend. Which is fine, I really didn't mind much.
Thank god on Friday I made plans for next weekend with my best friend (yes I am a drunk texter). I also talked to my other best [girl]friend, who apparently got in a car accident (damn ice) but is fine. And then of course I talked to Dustin who *said* he would stop by and then of course didn't. Bastard. Oh well. I just actually want to do something next weekend. I miss my friends.
But I did go to my parents' house for pot roast tonight and it was delicious. I always have fun with my mom too.
Guess its time for more Prison Break and then bed. I need a drink.

Ah coffee
I'm very happy to be back home with a nice hot cup of coffee. Sitting down. Cause my butt hurts - which is actually a good thing because I worked out yesterday, and I like being sore the next day. I actually have been working out again on a semi-regular basis..haha. Which is probably a good thing - not because I need to lose weight, I definitely don't, but because I have a family history of heart disease and osteoporosis. I used to love to run, as a hobby, not really as a form of exercise. I thought about starting to run again, but since it's FREEZING outside, I think not yet. But I did get a really cute book the other day, it's called Your Perfect Fit by Paige Adams-Geller, found of Paige Premium Denim, and Ashley Borden, trainer to celebs like Christina Aguilera. The book is really cool, in that it not only gives you fashion tips for your body type, but specific exercises to tone your "trouble spots". I did the butt and abs workouts yesterday just to try them and my booty is a bit sore today - yay.
So I'm not looking forward to going to philosophy this afternoon...I like the class, and the teacher is kind of funny...but half the time he doesn't show up and it's cold outside. I know, I'm being silly..but usually where I have to park is really far away from the door =P.
Then she says oh boy oh boy, count your lucky stars, count what you've been wishing for...
What a boring month. I've had nothing really exciting to do lately. And there was no party last weekend...my boyfriend and the birthday guy both had to work yesterday. So I ended up staying at my parent's house for dinner on Sunday night, which was actually quite fun. I sort of helped my mom & sister cook. Haha, lame I know - my life has just been that way lately.
I started reading the REALLY old Nancy Drew books - they actually are really good. I've read the ones from when she was little when I was little and then I sometimes used to read the college ones (from the 80's I think). It is kind of strange to read the originals, since they were written in the 60's, and I was born in the late 80's. But it's Nancy Drew so of course, they're great nevertheless.
God I'm such a dork.
Enough of my boring, dorky life for now - I've got class.

Home Sweet Home
Life with my boyfriend is finally starting to feel like home. It only took a little less than three months. I know, sounds like a long time...but I am very close to my family and it's hard for me to be away from them - even if it is only twenty minutes. It's weird though - looking around my kitchen and seeing all this "grown-up" stuff...a coffeemaker, crockpot, fridge FULL of food... It seems like people my age (eighteen) should maybe have a coffeemaker...but definitely not a crockpot or a full fridge.
Anyways, enough of my silly ramblings.
Today is one of my best friends' 20th birthday! I really want to have a party for him tonight, but I'm not sure if he and my boyfriend will have to work tomorrow (they work for the same place). I really hope not though, because I'm looking for an excuse to make a red velvet cake...besides the fact that I want one. Hey I've been trying to eat a few more veggies and a little less cake...you can imagine how well that's going. :)

Skipping class...
So today I feel like crap. I'm really tired and achy. I didn't go to class this morning and I'm not going to go now...it's Valentine's Day anyways!! :)
I did sort of skip my afternoon class the other day too...but that's just because my boyfriend wasn't working so we decided to go get ice cream (even though it was freezing out!) at Cold Stone Creamery. Yum! I had dark chocolate peppermint ice cream with white chocolate chips!! And my boyfriend had one of their Signature Creations - Mud Pie Mojo. Both were really tasty!
Obviously I love food, especially snacks, like ice cream. I also like a lot of snack bars, such as Lara Bars, Nature Valley Granola Bars, and Kudos bars. I bring this up because I get Daily Candy's newsletters, and in one I got today - The Weekend Guide - a site was mentioned called You Bar. You Bar is a site where you can actually pick ingredients to create your own snack bar!! Cool right?! Once I have some extra cash, I think it'd be fun.
Happy Valentine's Day!!!<3

I'll start again with a brand new name and eyes that see into infinity
Wow I'm tired - but so glad it's Friday!! I'm not sure what I'll end up doing this weekend...but I really want to go out to lunch and to maybe to get my hair cut tomorrow or Sunday. Plus I haven't spent much time with my work-o-holic boyfriend lately, so I think it'd be good for us.
To be honest, I really miss my best friends. I kind of actually want to have a little party here tomorrow night..it's cold anyway so I don't particularly want to go out - a little booze, a little Rock Band [love love that game!], a little friend time, sounds perfect to me. Plus, then I'd have a reason to make this cake! I absolutely love cake - and I've never made a pumpkin cake..I like pumpkin pie though. :) I just wish I could find my camera battery charger!! They should really make those things so that you can use the battery or some AA's or something.
Happy WEEKEND!!

'Cause everything inside it never comes out right
Ugh, I'm definitely not in the best mood. I've basically seen my boyfriend for a total of about four hours this week...and we LIVE together! He works a lot...and I wouldn't mind it so much except for that this semester I only have class 2 days a week. I am looking for a new job, but until then...I'm really freakin' bored.
So I started watching a pretty interesting show on NBC.com - it's called Quarterlife. What I've gotten from it so far is that it's about a girl who is a writer, works for a magazine - but mostly does coffee runs - and starts a video blog about her life. I love video blogs - Sometimes I want to start one myself, but I'm not sure I want just anyone to know that much about me. Anyways, the show is pretty good so far.
I've also been reading a lot of blogs around the net - I really love reading other people's thoughts..and I added a Blogroll! :)
Well, I should probably finish my homework before class tomorrow.
Happy Wednesday!
P.S. Hillary won NY! - I'm very happy about that! :D

Maybe I am jaded, or I'm mean or I am blind
Well. My name is Caitlin. I'm eighteen, I go to community college for god knows what.
I like people. I like to smile. I dream a lot. I drink a ton of coffee.
I play video games. I like to argue. I pretend to be brave when in reality,
I'm afraid of everything.
I believe in dreams. I believe that things happen for a reason. I think I believe
in love.
I love music. I like songs for the meaning. I don't like songs where the music
and words don't match. Why sing a sad song with happy music?
I have some really good friends who I don't think realize how much I love and
appreciate them. My mom is my best friend, I love her to death. I have a boyfriend
who I also do consider my best friend, although we are unbelievably different.
Being eighteen is scary. And it sucks. I have no idea what I want to do with my life
and I make a lot of mistakes. I used to worry a lot about the future, but lately I
just try to live in the moment. Cause my life isn't really that bad. Actually, I kind
of like it.
